Introducing the Digital Design Team Responsible for Our Revit Excellence

At SD Engineers, we believe collaboration is key; it’s how every project comes to life.

And at the heart of this collaboration is our Digital Design (Revit) Team, the people turning structural and civil calculations into coordinated models that shape the buildings and spaces we deliver.

Our Revit capabilities allow us to model with precision, work closely with other disciplines, and give clients a clear picture of how their projects will come together. But the real skill lies with the people behind the software, the technicians who refine the details, identify potential coordination challenges, and bring the pieces together to make them fit.

Here’s a closer look at some of the team members behind our digital delivery.

Euan has several years of digital design and BIM experience and has delivered a range of complex projects at senior level.

He has an excellent understanding of how digital tools, models, and data can support clear, coordinated and buildable designs. Euan is highly skilled at implementing processes to deliver greater efficiencies within design and resourcing the team to achieve deadline targets.

He is currently working across a range of projects from residential refurbishments to complex modelling, demonstrating his ability to deliver clear and precise digital design at different scales.

Euan’s work has received national recognition, including the UK Tekla Award in 2020 and the IStructE Pai Lin Li Award for research into recycled plastic bricks.

Outside of work, he enjoys country walks, wildlife photography, cycling, and tennis.

Callum has more than a decade of experience in BIM and digital delivery, beginning his career as an apprentice in Bristol before progressing into senior BIM leadership roles. Now BIM Lead at SD, he oversees internal and external BIM requirements, drives innovation across the practice, and has grown the BIM team significantly in recent years.

He is currently leading BIM delivery on Peckham Road and M&S, Purley, alongside initiatives such as automated carbon counting in Revit, improved Tekla-to-Revit workflows, and greater integration of 4D BIM.

Outside of work, Callum enjoys golf, football, and rugby, and is a proud first-time father to his son, Louis.

Hayley has nearly a decade of experience and qualified as an Engineering Technician in 2021.

She brings a strong background in structural and civil Revit design, as well as a genuine curiosity about how technology can enhance the way we work.

Her experience includes mixed-use schemes, commercial refurbishments and residential builds. She brings a thoughtful, detail-driven approach to everything she works on.

Currently she’s working alongside our engineers to deliver Narborough, M&S Purley, Coombehurst, Carlton Hill, and Market House. More on these projects and their complexities to come.

Outside of work, Hayley enjoys PC gaming, medieval history, and visiting historic sites, and shares her home with two dogs and three cats, interests that reflect the patience and creativity she brings to digital design.

Richard has over 15 years of experience in structural engineering digital design, working across projects of varying scale and complexity with a practical, detail-focused approach.

A key highlight of his career was acting as Lead Technician on a highly sustainable project that achieved an outstanding BREEAM rating and a 4.5-star NABERS score while retaining 98% of the original building.

Outside of work, Richard enjoys video gaming, Japanese anime and manga, learning about different cultures, and is currently teaching himself Japanese.

Madhu joined SD Engineers as a Trainee Technician after completing an MSc in Construction Management with BIM at Coventry University, graduating with a Distinction, and a Civil Engineering degree from VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology.

He has received a Gold Award at the INEX Expo and holds a patent for his Bachelor’s degree project: Multi-Layered Gravity Filter for Treatment of Rainfall Muddy Water. His Master’s work focused on evaluating the efficiency of 4D and 5D BIM using Revit and Navisworks for Improved Planning, Costing and Sustainability in the UK.

Currently working on projects including Linmere Phase 3A, Chalkhill High Dependency Unit, and
3 Albert Hall Mansions. Madhu is passionate about BIM innovation, particularly automation using tools like Dynamo and Python.

Outside of work, he enjoys photography and exploring architectural spaces, and is known for his supportive, collaborative approach when helping peers with BIM workflows.

Together, this team represents the skill, curiosity, and craftsmanship behind SD Engineers’ digital delivery. Their work strengthens coordination, improves clarity, and helps bring every project to life with confidence.
