The whole practice swapped desks for a day out together this summer in Bristol.
First stop was Wake the Tiger, an immersive art exhibition that turned out to be more brilliant than any of the team expected – well worth a visit for anyone in or visiting Bristol. From there, it was a boat cruise along the harbour, followed by a tapas lunch that included a toast to a few well-deserved promotions within the team. The day wrapped up with a last drink(s) together before heading home.
The conversations that happen at an exhibition, on a boat, or over tapas are different to the ones that happen at a desk, and that’s exactly why days like this matter. Team bonding plays a real part in how SD Engineers works together, and this one might be the best social the practice has had yet.
