Work life is busy, home life is busy, and keeping on top of significant practice news can be quite tricky, even with our bi-weekly catch ups. That’s why we bring the team together once a quarter to recap over everything.
Our most recent quarterly was full of celebrations for work anniversaries, promotions, exciting personal news, and a chance to welcome new joiners. Our Associates reminded everyone about the recent project wins and significant milestones. We’re excited to get stuck into these!

We’ve got three luxury private homes that have recently started. All of which have their own set of challenges with regards to basement design and site logistics but the teams involved are already offering up plenty of solutions.
The outdated leisure centre at Great North Leisure Park is being upgraded to a new complex with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sauna room, a gym, and multipurpose studios. We’re working with Regal and JTP LLP on this one.
An existing six-storey building with basement in central London is to be vertically extended to provide more usable space. John McAslan + Partners are the architects here.
Broadwater Road is a four-storey residential development and landscaped podium to the centre for Hill Group UK, and it topped out recently. Apart from a few tiny bits, the structure is complete and the architectural finishes will soon be added.

We’ve been appointed to deliver another commercial retrofit and vertical extension project by Paternoster Square with Anomaly and Gardiner & Theobald LLP.
Our pre-app structural appraisal report for Hastings Visitor Centre was recently submitted. The current visitor centre will be transformed into a hub that responds better to community needs and its surroundings, with Poroban.

Working with EPR Architects, our design for Residence Inn is well underway. We’re delivering the preliminary phase of a hotel development in the heart of Mayfair. An eight-storey building will form an extension to the main Grade II listed hotel and will provide an additional 135 new rooms.
Alongside Burrell Foley Fischer LLP, we are evaluating the condition and capacity of the structural and civil elements of an existing building which houses an auditorium, foyer, dance studio, and library – to enable a complete refurbishment and upgrade of the current facilities.

Last but not least, our George Street project was completed earlier this year. It’s a four-storey commercial building, with two-storey basement, in the heart of Marylebone which was vertically extended and refurbished by us and Anomaly. We’ve now been reappointed to deliver the fit-out of the lower floors.

We absolutely love working on these sorts of complex projects to deliver clever and thoughtful engineering.
