Yesterday (8th February) the government announced it will remove all RAAC from affected schools and colleges through its School Rebuilding Programme or offer grant funding for remedial works.
The concern over RAAC within buildings was at the forefront of discussions last year, and rightly so. But, there still seems to be confusion about the requirements and recommendations of remediation and de-risking buildings.
We’ve noticed an increased interest in our CPD covering RAAC, and our main goal is to clarify the guidance and outline our process to RAAC here at SD.
